The region: the maritime Sanaga
The region: the maritime Sanaga
Sanaga-Maritime is a department of Cameroon located in the Littoral region. Its capital is Edéa.
In this region of Cameroon people are very poor. The young people who can have gone to town.
Only the youngest and the oldest remain, unable to move.
Poverty in this region of Cameroon is endemic, here there are no roads, no school or almost, no hospitals, in the only dispensaries that there are blood transfusions are done in bottles of Coca Cola.
the drugs have been stolen, the money for the roads too, Poverty is not only material here, it is inked in the depths of mentalities.Only education can get out young people from physical and mental poverty.
The only way to evolve is a good education, to change mentalities, to develop a Cameroon plagued by corruption which prevents it from evolving.
The department extends to the south and east of the Littoral region and the lower course of the Sanaga from its mouth on the Gulf of Guinea to its confluence with the Liwa river east of Nyanon.
The symbol of the region is a bridge built at the time of German colonization and still standing.
Samba is like a symbol to save. I invite you to read the summary on who is the priest of Samba, those he put in mind (restoring a glorious past of a materially and mentally poor region.
